PJ Birosik has been writing professionally for the music industry since she was 15 years old, beginning her career as a high school album reviewer and continuing as a respected college journalist. Simultaneously serving as Music Director for Billboard's Best Medium Sized College Radio Station of the Year (KUOR-FM, Redlands, California) and Music Research Director for the Inland Empire's top Arbitron-ranked CHR/Top 40 Radio Station (KFXM-AM, San Bernadino, California), Birosik freelanced for Cashbox, Billboard, Record Review, BAM, Music Connection and many other respected music publications.
After establishing herself as a top-notch record and concert reviewer, Birosik was invited to provide editorial content to over 28 publications nationwide, something she still continues to do today on behalf of www.cdnow.com, the Rough Guide to World Music, the respected music industry trade publication NAV, the syndicated newspaper chain Creative Loafing and many others. Birosik has also seen four books published by Collier/Macmillan and Avon, including the critically-praised reference volume, "The New Age Music Guide," in 1986.
